I have 5 partitions,all NTFS....it's a dual boot win 2000 and XP system and 3 storage partitions.
I can transfer files with FlashFxp to my DATA partition when I'm running windows 2000,
I can also burn the files that I select on that partition.
When using XP,I can't do any of this....after a few minutes, when downloading with FlashFxp,a yellow exclamation mark appears in my systray and my system freezes ,also, when I open DiscJuggler or any other program to select files, the program hangs and has to be closed by task manager.Weird thing is that I can acces the partition with explorer or Total Commander without problems...
This happens only with the DATA partition, doing this stuff on my other partitions doesn't create any of this problems with XP......
When running the error checking options @ DATA-->properties,an error pops up,telling the disc check can't complete.
Running CHKDSK on a reboot doesn't complete either, the last step stays @ 0% for hours.
Checking the DATA partition under win 2000 enviroment displays no errors.
The diagnostic tool from WD shows no errors either.
I did a system file repair and installed XP again on top of my XP partion, neither 1 of them did solve it....
Disc Management shows no errors........I'm stuck.....
