Star Trek Bridge Commander copying help

I just took back that piece of crap game C&C ReneGAYde. But I copied it just in case.

Anyways, returned it for Star Trek Bridge Cummander. I copied it with Clone cd as if Safedisc was on there. No errors reported which made me think this game does have something different on it.

Well, needless to say there was an "error in the move data process" when I tried to install it on another machine.

I used PCDB on it to try and see if it could notice the copy protection, came up empty.

Anyone know what copy protection is on here and or a way to find out and or a good way to copy this cd if it has an unknown copy protection?

Update

Upon using Daemon tools, mounting the CLone CD Image of STBC, then choosing Securom emulation I was able to install this program fine.

Now how does Clone cd copy a supposedly secure rom image so that my other comptuer can use a cd?

Still having problems

Before using Clone cd and copying to a CDRW 80min I would always get to 87% when installing the game and get "and error in the move data process" thus not being able to install the game.

Then I found a website with the protection detection prgrams Clony and Copy Protection Detection. Both said no copy protection found but to use OVERBURN. The only way to overburn was to use Cdrwin or Nero. I tried CDRWIN.

Ok made the cdrwin image, and burned to another CDRW. Installed the game, at 87% it stays there for about 10 minutes but then resumes, and installs the game.

Load the game I get the initial movie and then crashes back to desktop with the Bridge.exe at the bottom still running.

Anyone got clues on duping this game?

Discjuggler can also overburn and is a powerful program.If its securom clone settings are read sub channel data from data and audio tracks.

SOLVED - finally

Ok after trying more methods I finally acheived the copying of Star Trek Bridge Commander.

Equipment:
Lite On 24102b

Used Clone cd 3.3.4.1 to make an image.
Read Speed Max
Read Subchannel Data from Data Tracks - checked
Read Subchannel Data from Audio Tracks - Checked

All others UNCHECKED.


Used Clone CD 3.3.4.1 to write and image.
Write Speed MAX
Write Mode RAW DAO

Buffer underrun Protecion - Checked.
Amplify Weak Sectors - Checked (not sure if needed)
Don't Repair Subchannel Data - Checked
