Speeding nero cd copy process?

hi guys

i am trying to speed up my cd copying process in nero by selecting fastcopy function, but it doeasnt allow me as it is shaded.

i have just recently noticed that when i make copy's - it takes longer to read my cd than before, which prompted me to look further into it. it takes a lot longer now and creates a image and then copys. is that the norm?

you can choose copy on the fly or you have ti disellect read media cat. slower

Perhaps your burner does not support it.
