spam messages in msn

Hi can anyone please help ,I keep getting instant messages on msn messenger from people not in my contacts list a lot are porn related and not very nice . thanks for the help in advance Bjellys

Short term solution for win2000 & XP: control panel>Administrative Tools>Component Services>Services (local)>scroll down to Messenger

Rt clk for Properties, set to manual, so you turn on Messenger when you want to use it (and you don't get unsolicited messages when you're doing other things).

For a long-time solution goto www.meaya.com and get a file which wont allow those messengers popups--not popupstopper--the other one(it`s two files only)!!!!!!....Or get a file from gibson site,which will disable it too(shields up--site)!!!

By the way; I don't seem to have this annoyances using the MSN and ICQ protocols in Miranda IM 0.2.1.
