sound scratching

when a play a vob ,vcd or svcd
in powerdvd and zoomplayer,and more,
if i play a vcd or svcd in my dvd player,
the sound is distorced,just like the tweeter is scratch.

if i convert the sound from vobs with dvd2avi,
bsweet or tempgenc,
in wave or mp3 formats is also scratch.

all i can say is:
every conversion from vob files is scratching !!!


ps:
if i play an audio cd or convert in sound forge the sound is ok!
mp3 sounds like good too!

what is this?

If you play a VOB file off a DVD and you get scratchy sound there is probably a system problem. Does a DVD play okay with PowerDVD on the PC? Maybe time to upgrade your Sound Card drivers.

Yes CM,you are correct!
the problem was my old sound blaster.
when it plays a 5.1 audio the sound is terrible(ugly)
i put it off. i go to get a new one!
