Sonic MyDVD burning

Hi again ! I'm back from hibernation with another problem (naturally) Some of you helped me overcome a problem with old, old video tapes and thats ok now , BUT on Sonic MyDVD after saving to folder the burn button goes grey and I cant burn my project . I found some info in Sonys FAQs that said a grey burn button was usually caused by too big a file being saved . Does this mean limiting the file size to operate the burn or is there another way . I have all my DVDs on my hard drive but cannot burn them . I did touch this subject before but have lost the plot somewhere . I've also got ShowBiz on board . Any help much appreciated by this learner . Jabaarli

What files do U mean If they are the VOBs etc U will need to compress them if they are over 4.7 GB

MyDVD will let you import video even if file is too big but will not let you burn it. It has not created the VOB files yet it does that after you click on the burn button before it does the burn. If I remember correctly you can edit it to take some out, then it will let you burn.

MyDVD setup sub folders in my Documents with ses defining some of them .
What does ses mean . I see where some one puts 9GB discs on a 4.7 GB disc . Will that process help me ? I cant follow understand VOB file definition in glossary . Too tech 4 me jabaarli
