Software 4 voice removal?

Any suggestions for progs that remove vocals from MP3 or WAV? Not much success yet on my side with Cool edit & Sound forge...

Thanx 4 advice, Roadworker - I'll give it a try. Any idea where a crack 4 Dart karaoke studio can B found??? (I C the version 1.1.9 is the present release @ ~12MB...)

U can do it with Cool Edit, but U need 2 have & use "Studio Plugin"
It breaks down most of the sounds in2 different bars/channels & U can manipulate the 1s U want without affecting the others.

I checked the content of Cool Edit Pro and can't find the pluggin you're talking about. My question is, where can I get the "Studio Plugin"?

U have 2 get the Studio Plug-in separate. Is a demo, about 1.3MB size. Adds a 4 track mixing studio to Cool Edit. Can be found @ Syntrillium Software Corp. or else U can search ZDnet 4 "Cool Edit Studio Plug-in". Cost = $49 for full version. I Haven't tried it yet myself...
