Snow - falling snow needed for desktop !

My daughter has seen a friends comp where falling snow was constantly on the desktop. Is there anyone who knows where to get such a prog ? For XP home too if poss. TA. ;)

If you make a web page (snow.html) and add the snow javascript to it, then enable active desktop and point it to the html file, voila!

no way, bud! i actually saw some of that stuff once when i was a kid and that was enough for me. :cool:

Try this html (just add your own background pic). Then r-click desktop, properties, web, browse for the html file and apply, mazimize it! Snow!

another easy way is use small animated gif

search web for animated gif of snowfall several out there. right click save to directory right click desktop screen for propeties under desktop tab click browse change background files to all picture formats locate animated gif and use tile feature you will have snow

i have holiday lights also, works a treat.

@netman and malbolgia, snow is awesome guys i love the stuff, it transofrms the scenery like nothing else can, you can make snowmen and snow angels, yea man snow is the shit.

Rubbing it in you swine ! :D Actually its very warm at the moment here in Northern England too. Greenhouse effect (no I'm not sitting in one !) ? As for the real snow, I have always liked the stuff but we dont reall get too much in the way of extremes of weather in GB do we lads ? :)

LTR - Thanks mate, I already had the "snow for windows" one, and the other one (the last one) doesnt seem to show (or snow :D !)
