Slight problem with my Pioneer DVD-117

Okay this is just a DVD-rom i just got and i'm having a few problems launching back-up games with safeDisc 2.x

i've tried to accompany them with Daemon-tools to simulate the protection but still get errors however they do work with my previous CD-Rom device,

I've got a CDR-W Drive installed too and i can't install another Disc-device and the reading off of the CDR-W Drive's laser is buggered...

Can anyone pls suggest a solution or know of a solution?!

what you need is the "Hide Media" function because DVD-ROMs are able to exploit the ATIP too:

Thanks, however i've already had launched those proggies in the tray already (Forgot to mention), but still no go... i don't want to unplug and re-plug the old CDrom drive now do i ?! well that's the only choice i'm left with at the moment...

you could try the latest DaemonTools version again; they released a few days ago a new version to fix the game publisher's latest blacklisting attempts;
