Can't see why the cineplayer filter would not playback SVCD's... I mean MPEG2 is MPEG2.
Ok, did some testing. The filter playsback SVCD's fine in media player classic, due to native riff/cdxa support. I guess the intervideo filter also has such support.
The cineplayer filter also worked fine with wmp and graphedit, however after I unregistered the mode2cdmaker riff/cdxa filter (xcdsrc.ax) it no longer worked.
So why don't you just use mpc or install the riff/cdxa parser filter? This would enable any MPEG2 decoder filter to playback SVCD's whether it has in build riff/cdxa parsing or not.
xcdsrc.ax also has the added advantage of allowing you to play other media files burn as mode2 form2 in any directshow player.
