San Andreas backup problem

I recently backed up San Andreas and decided to test it before i put it away. After playing for about 10 minutes, I noticed the graphics are very choppy if i'm traveling in a car at high speeds. It seems like some kind of a bad draw distance problem that doesn't happen with the original. Occasionally I even get an error message that says "Error reading from San Andreas." I burned the game on Ritek g04's with RecordNow MAX with no errors. I've never had this problem before with any other backed up games. Is it my ps2 laser? Maybe a bad dvd?

What Speed Did You Read & Burn The Game..

Ahhhhh, I never thought about that. I read the game at the minimum speed but burned it at the maximum, 4x. You think that will matter? I'll try burning another copy at a lower speed. Thanks.

hey man i would suggest you always burn @ the lowest speed possible..just to be safe!

Just finished burning a copy at 1x and so far so good. I got an error while verifying in RecordNow MAX, but it doesn't seem to affect gameplay. Thanks for the help!
