Found old rw disc with music files on it. Tried to erase in Nero and get "SCSI Target error"? Will recognize that it's a cdrw and show the files abut will not erase. It will start the process-get 10 sec into it and then the progress bar will sip to the end with error message SCSI... Any way to erase?

8-4-32 Tried to reduce the speed in drop down box from max to 4x. Dont' have a clue which burner proggy was used to format orig. Clone cd will not work either. Disc is marked as high speed media from hp.

Could be packetwritten cd?
I have this problem with cdrws I burned using Neros Incd prog.
I binned the software and I get the same stuff happening.
Dont know how to solve it and I'm not going to recommend installing the soft.
Its a pc killer. Along with that roxio direct cd. IMHO!

Try DiscJugglers format function. I have used this prog with luck in cases like this. It almost always function.

You will find it in the forum if you dont have it..

Gave it a shot

Pulled disc from trash and ran Paddy DJ to find--- error: disc write protected. At least DJ gave a more understandable message...back to the rubbish it goes.
