Runtime error 58: File already exists

So far I'm had no luck in processing after DVDD finishes, as soon as I press the 'process' button I get the Runtime error 58. Info:I have the Temp, Backup and Destination folders all on my C drive, Ifoedit.95 on my D drive[D:\Program Files\DVDstripper\ifoedit095\IfoEdit.exe]. I'm using winxp w/sp1, 100gb of free space on HDD and shut down all other programs. I've tried 6 different movies all with the same result.. Runtime error 58 as soon as I press Process.
I've also tried removing nothing after decrypting and then processing with the exact same result. I'm sure that this has to be something simple but, search here, search there, Google and I have gotten nowhere. I'm using version 0.1.0
Any help would be great!

I have a pretty much similar a similar problem. After I press "Process", the stripper seems to start stripping items. Then IFOEdit starts and doing the stripping works like normal. When first strip is done, the "Finished Processing VOBU pointers" with Ok button appears. Then nothing else happens. :confused: It seems like the Stripper is waiting for me to click the OK button. I waited a while, still nothing happens so I go ahead and click her button (actually the button belongs to IFOEdit). Nothing happens still. I go ahead and closed IFOEdit. Then another IFOEdit window start coming up and doing the stripping job. When it's done same old thing happens. But this time, after I push the OK button then close IFOEdit, the Runtime error 58 appears. After I clicked the button in the error message dialog box, the Stripper quits. :(

I restart the Stripper and go on to Emergency and choose "". IFOEdit starts and doing its things. It stops after processing one item as it was doing when stripping. I click ok and close IFOEdit, next window of IFOEdit starts. Again, it stops when done. I clicked ok again. The same old Runtime error 58 appears! :( I can't even revert.

Edit: the error message I got was "Run-time error '53': File not found". So, it isn't the same as what ablindog has.

I found that if I make sure that the temp, destination and backup folders are all empty, this error message (file exists) does not happen. Hope this helps. :)

Not for me!!! I actually have "Run-time Error 53: File NOT found", pls c previous post Edit.

MackemX, did any of the beta testers ever get this error? Btw, I'm using a laptop with WinXP Home Edition, P4, 2.66GHz, 40GB HD, and 512 MB Ram. DVDDecrypter, IFOEdit, DVDStripper, the Temp and Backup as well as the Destination folder r all in the same HD. I've tried on two DVD's with the same result. What did I do wrong? Pls help!

now added into Beta along with a few other fixes and added features

security check that all selected paths are unique
security check that Destination and Backupfolder are empty prior processing
security check that Temporary folder is empty prior ripping

please people, don't start asking when it will be released, this is just to show we are updating and it will be released when it's been fully tested as we don't want people complaining it doesn't work
