Repairing XP

Hello

I've got a problem. Ive got XP Home Edition and when i type the command sfc /Scannow it asks for the Professional CD ..

Can i use it with Home or not? How can I reinstall XP without losing my data and settings??

Your version of XP Home is a Corpfiles conversion?

If you need to reinstall WindowsXP and want to keep all your current installed applications and settings:

1.Start WindowsXP

2.Go to the location of your source files

3.Run WINNT32 /unattend

Change setup bios to boot from cd, then boot from windows xp pro and after that choose the repair option. This will keep all your progams 100% working (perhaps you will have to reinstall aspi drivers or other small things, but nothing importat)
