Heres a ? for ya ,
Why do I have to log in as the admin when I want to access my pc remotely?

I've tried to make a different user in the remote desktop connection properties but still with no alvail. I get a message that says unable to log you on because of account restrictions.

But even when I as the user belong to the admin group?

is it just the remote desktop you want ?

Try this www.tightvnc.com/download.html its a small program that allows others to connect with user name and password to your machine and they don't you can also take control and and you can access it on any computer thats got the net just put in http://ip : port number see if that helps you
