Red Hat 8 now available

Servers very slow due to traffic---just hope that they stay connected because at this rate it will take days

Why don't you just run Solaris? :)

Anyone compare mdk 9 and rh 8 yet? Got mdk 9 this weekend, but did not install yet.

Try here: ffftp://ftp.uninett.no/linux/RedHat/redhat/8.0/en/iso/i386/
It`s on a Gigabit Line in Norway, I got it at 185KBps tonight.
Maybe faster than Redhat server :D

Solaris
Edit your post..no D.L.....RASTABT!

Thanks for the links----

Seems as if the word is spreading too fast to catch one of the fast ones open--- 530 Sorry, the maximum number of allowed clients (200) already connected.---Going to try at an off time. NB do you have an idea of where the server is located--country? Just so I can time it correctly. Thanks

RedHat owns :)
But I am not really sure about v.8 ...
I did check the redhat.com site .. a bit ... seems like the go in the way like SuSE did ...
Hopefully the stuff stays as stable ... I do not want to switch to Debian ...

Any comments on the v.8 yet ?
I will install it, once I got it :)
