recordnowmax3.01 problems with my reader writer?

just downloaded record max and installed it
then when i open it i get an error message saying
no compatable recordable or rewrightable devices could be found on your system
would you like tocheck if an update is avalable?

so i clicked yes then d/loaded an update and still get the message
does any one know of any software that is compatible with my reader /wrigtherthat does mp3's, its a matshita ujda720 dvd/cdrw

any help apriciated

Same happened to me,gone after reboot!!!If its still not working,buy new burner or change the software.Just to add that i saw posts from somebody saying that Feurio is not recognizing too,so look carefull for soft..

iv just reinstalled record nowmax 3.01, as the first time it wouldnt reconise my wrighter , then found that my cd drive (e) vannished,
so did a system restore,then it was back. so decided to reinstall recordmax.
anyway it reconises my reader /writer but still haveing probs
firstly it kept comeing up trying to install something cannot remember exactly.
now it wont record mp3's
getting message saying( some file entries are missing or misplaced. these files are indicated with an exclamation point in the list?

why did i buy this pile of shit computer
my old one worked perfect with cdr win

the name says it all ( matshita )

think iv got it sused now m8.
the only way i can get it to record mp3's to music cd's is to make a new folder then drag albumn/s into the new folder, when its coppied into folder ,open record now max then when the stomp recordnow wizard opens,click make music disc then click make a new disc from audio files, then brows to my new folder then cracked it recording at last.
can anyone tell me if this is the proper way to use this programme?
im new to computers no one has ever shown me how to use one,
its all self taught,so forgive my lack of knowlage in computing

NP M8!!!!

Im not much better either,just used it so know my way around bit better.For making regular mp3 music cd for listening on your pc go with new data disc,put all mp3 in and burn.For regular audio cd for listening on your pc or home stereo,go with new audio cd,choose mp3,wav,wma you want and burn.This is the simplest way and must work if everything on pc is good.Hope now is more clear!!:cool: :)
