REcord now max wont record Video CD

Hi
i m havin a problem with record now max 4.1
when i try to converrt a dat file to vcd it always gives a error saying

"not a valid format and gives specs for VCD format
pal 352*298
ntsc 352*298
film
blah blah blah"

has any one else xperienced this prob

any body out there please get me rid of this problem

To make a VCD you need an MPG file with VCD specifications, a DAT file thats been copied off a CD is NOT an MPG file.

Use VCDGear (from _www.vcdgear.com) to convert the DAT to a proper MPG file, then RecordNow Max will work.
