I'm using it for encoding AVI (DV file) to MPEG2 file for future DVD or SVCD, sure is not very faster, but for me, in mastering mode, is wonderfull....

Mainconcept encoder mpeg2

Can anyone help me with a little problem that I recently, encountered encoding from avi to mpeg2 using Mainconcept standalone.
Well encodes the file o.k but p.back is ghastly, stutters and audio sounds just as bad. That phenomenon came about just after I changed my XP CD key and installed sp1. onthe comp.
Any help will be appreciated. Can't encode anything properly anymore.
