My best friend recently told me about a rattling noise from the roof or sideposts of his Punto, it was only on bumpy roads and when he put his foot down, he couldnt solve it so he took it to a garage he could trust, they test drove the car, had a look about and spent 2 hours removing roof linings etc when one of the collegues in the garage shouted over "what about the antenna-ball" turns out that noise was an antenna ball boucing off the roof from the Ariel. He got charged £30 for wasting their time saying it was an urgent problem.
