hi,
i have win2k pro sp3 installed; i recently installed the debugging tool so that i can read what the memory.dmp files say when i have the bsod but havent had much luck with it; i dl the symbols from the MS site
i use the complete dump (vs the minidump 64KB) option if there's a BSOD.
when i click on dmpchk.exe, a dos screen flashes real quickly and then nothing happens; when i click on the windbg.exe file, that works but when i open the memory.dmp (1 gig's worth b/c of that's how much RAM i have), it says symbol incorrect n the debugging tool wouldnt work
does anyone here have much experience with MS debugging tools who can shed some light please?
thanks very much.
btw, the crash usually occurs when i run peerguardian with emule for a while
