MAKING A CD BACKUP FROM A PS2 OR PSX ORIGINAL CD GAME USING NERO

Open the Nero Burning ROM application

Insert the Game you wish to back-up into your CD-writer.

Choose file then CD COPY.


Select Page copy options.

Make sure that Copy on the fly is UN-ticked.
Also select your CD-writer as the Drive with source CD.
Set the read speed to a speed best suitable for your writer.

Select read options.

Select these options if available.
Read media catalog number and ISRC.
Continue copying.
Data mode 1 - Force raw reading - Write uncorrected.
Data mode 2 - Force raw reading - Write uncorrected.
Read audio with subchannel.
Ignore read errors.
Make sure you UN-tick JITTER correction.

Select image Page.

Choose an area of your computer to save the image too, you will need at least 700Mb's of free space.

Select page burn.


Select a low write speed the better also you can select the number of copies you wish to make and also you can simulate the write before to check for any unforeseen errors (only available if the writer is compatible).

Click CD COPY
And let Nero burning rom do the rest.

Hopefully you will know have made a successful copy.
