yeah basically ive been trying allnight to convert a bloody dvd to avi and im faCING prob after prob. the prblem i am having now is after ripping the vobs to one vob on my hard drive i run that one through dvd to avi wait a couple of hours and then find out its only converting about 29 mins of the film this is seriously doing my head in all i wanna do is convert a couple of dvds to avi and save them on my pc in avi format so i can maybe wack them on a cd or whatever can any one help please

Sounds like you are actually saving an AVI with DVD2AVI, I would (and did) suggest just saving a D2V and demuxing the audio instead.
How many posts are you going to start on this? You have 3 posts which are all basically on the same topic (DVD to mpg or AVI).
