can some one please help me?

I've got winXP pro and when I install it, the comp. restarts. Then it starts all over again???????

I'm sorry for my English.

Hi bud.Welcome to the forum!Your English is fine BTW.During the install process Xp will reboot your computer,that is normal.It will copy some files to your hard drive then reboot to continue the process.

If it gives you a choice to boot from cdrom after the the first files are copied,choose no,or wait and it will boot from the hard drive.Then it will continue the copying files process.

Thanks Woody,

I know that during the installation my comp. will boot, the problem is that after booting, the installation starts all over again :confused:

yeah man...ya english is better than mine, and i'm from Texas

-what woody is saying is that if you have your cdrom set as the 1st boot device in bios...after your computer reboots it will read the bootcat offa the XP cdrom and begin setup again..

-so u can either change the setting in the bios to something like C,Cdrom,A etc..

-or you can choose the correct option so that it'll boot offa the hard disk...
