Probleme beim Audio-CD brennen mit Nero

hallo,
ich bin neu hier, weil ich ein problem habe.
seit einiger zeit habe ich Probleme beim Audio-CD brennen mit Nero. immer wenn ich wav oder mp3 dateien als audio-cd brenne, kann mein cd-player die nicht lesen. er bekommt zwar noch die anzahl der tracks und zeit zusammen, aber abspielen geht nicht. im pc und bei freunden läufts ohne probleme. ich habe auch schon mehrere rohlinge ausprobiert, weil mein player sehr wählerisch ist, aber es hat nix genützt, obwohl ich die gleichen marken-rohlinge (verbatim und philips) benutze wie früher. und cd's, die früher gebrannt wurden laufen auch weiterhin ohne probleme. erst seit ein bis zwei monaten funzt es nicht mehr. zwischenzeitlich dachte ich mal es liegt am neuen nero 5.10 und bin deshalb wieder auf 5.5.5.2 zurückgegangen, aber das wars auch nicht.

kann es evtl. sein, das ich irgendwie einen kaputten bzw. modifizierten wav-codec habe, den mein cd-player nicht kennt, nur der pc und alle anderen (neueren) player?

oder habt ihr andere ideen? theoretisch könnte ich den pc fast platt machen und neu installieren, aber das muß nicht sein, der läuft grade so gut. ;-)

zum Thema:
die aktuelle Nero Version sollte nahezu fehlerfrei funktionieren;
Verbatim und Philips haben seit den 40fach Rohlingen ihren Zulieferer gewechselt; der ist jetzt CMC (Nero CD Speed > Extra > Disc Info) und die sind Schrott;
sieh zu, daß du welche von Fuji bekommst, die taugen noch was; und wichtig: AudioCDs nur mit 4facher Geschwindigkeit brennen!

here is my translation:

hi, i'm new here because i've got a problem.
for some time i have problems with the audio cd burn with nero.
every time i burn wav or mp3 files as audio cd my cd-player cannot read them. he gets only the number of tracks and time but does not play the music. my pc and other players can play these cds. i already tried out several cdr-brands, because my player don't take all of them, but without solution,
although i use the same cdr-brands (verbatim and philips) as in former times and cd's and those cds that were burned in former times still work without problems.
only two months ago there was no problem. i thought it has to do something with the new nero version 5.5.10 and changed to my former version 5.5.2. but nothing happened.

maybe there is a problem with my wav-codec? please send me your proposals.

It appears that the cds are burning correctly if they play in the pc and other players !? , therefore the problem seems to be with the cd-player that will not play the cds !? perhaps the lazer head is out of alignment or possibly just needs a good clean !?

Other than this the lazer may not be tuned to read cdr media a lot of older players have this fault !? as the lazer is simply not strong enough to read the cdr disk !?

try putting an original cd in the cd-player play the 1st track for a few seconds then replace with the cdr you made and see if it is able to play the disk !? sometimes this works !?

Only other suggestion to make if the cdr's made work fine in the pc and other cd-players then its time to get a new player to replace the old none working one

@ duracell or other german speaking member please translate this as best they can !?

well, it still works with older cdr-media. but from one day on all new cds were not playable...

try putting an original cd in the cd-player play the 1st track for a few seconds then replace with the cdr you made and see if it is able to play the disk !? sometimes this works !?

i've tried this a few times. it worked only for the first time

it seems quad understands english too;

like i wrote above (in german): quad shouldn't use CMC media (Verbatim, Philips) and try instead some Fujis and write at 4x speed;
my Yamaha F1 use 4x speed as default for AudioCDs (autom. "best writing speed" function in Nero);

The Mitsubishis should be fine. The Riteks are poor quality media.
In general short strategy media with silver or gold dye are better read from standalone CD players, but of course this rule has exheptions- the Riteks is one of them.
Try to find REAL Mitsui media, or Prodisk. You can find short strategy Prodisk stamped as "Intenso" in Germany, which are pretty good for their price.

But the crux is Long Strategy media are more compatible with old CD-RW drives, isn't it so? quad's writer (Teac cd-w54e 4x4x32x) isn't the latest top model;

last week i bought:
Verbatim DataLife 40x CD-R 700MB ==> checked: CMC

Philips CD-R 80 48x ==> checked: CMC

my recommendation for now:
try again the Verbatim/Mitsubishi and only use 2x speed;
if it doesn't work, go for some Intenso or Fuji to try it again with 2x speed;

if all trials failing, you should think about a new (i know you won't hear it) CD writer and/or CD player;

now i'm not able to play this cd in my pc

therefore i try to have a short break and go for a holiday next week. then i am going to buy some fuji or intenso.
< edit > i've trieded to get some but they are only sold as box (between 10 and 50 medias a package)

i think my cd-player maybe only takes the dye type 1 (long strategy). that should be the solution of my problem.
and i found a page http://www.cdr-forum.de/index_cdrohlinge.php where i can check this before buying (it is a german page but anyways you should be able to read the important parts).

it's hard to get "Long Strategy" media; i still have stored 6 packages of the old TDK 650MB 24x only for personal audio mastering;
