problem with vob files

My video store as a 2 for 1 day, so I usually rent 2 movies, rip them with smartripper or dvd decrypter to my HD and watch them during the weekends using PowerDVD, but a few time I insert the vob files but theyre is no sound......except for my numerous "fuck"
Why??? Even when a make a backup of the cd I have the same problem.....Thanks for any help

Your ripping method is wrong probably.
Try this ripper

I would suggest you try your HD playback using WinDVD instead of PowerDVD. Hassles like your having are typical problems with PowerDVD.
