problem with sims

hi there
im a complete newbie dont know any jargon and my sims game running almost to end but crashes to desktop this only occured because i decided to sims eraser and clear out all my files and start afresh please help im now completely bored

have you tried removing it using add remove programs using then reinstalling !?

reading around the sims eraser causes more problems than its worth by messing the registery settings by not removing them Completely
