2ky, the Paradox warez release is a very common and usually easy to find version of NTI CD Maker (its even at the main site). You can find out this version by looking in the .nfo files that are included in the zip or rar file. It will clearly say that its a Paradox release.

However, you say you used NTI on Fosi website and the update
from NTI website (yes, version 5.13 is the correct version after update) so you should be running fine.

Let us know if it is running O.K for you now or if not re-post your
problems.

Btw,this is going on and on.Im not using nti,so dont give a damn,But newbies getting recomended that is a good soft, they installing it,and getting bigger crap then roxio products(well, almost:) I think you should take it down, and put real thing up(fosi version as recommended by other users)and link to nti update(main site) for as long is possiblle>>works(until they disable link),otherwise this version just making damage to cdrsoft, which is now on highest possition in last two years :)

hi m8 its still not working so iv just tryed to look at the nfo file and got a message saying
system infomation cannot open this nfo file.it might be corupted or an unreconised version
does this tell you any thing
sorry to be a pain but would like to get it going
thanks dxkim

Since you saying that are new on this field, why dont you go with something simple like mp3 cdmaker, veritas>prassi>stomp, hotburn, feurio(on this one leave everything default)and check it out!!!!

zver
dont know what veritas>prassi>stomp,hotburn,feurio means
also can you point me in the right direction to where i can download the software
thanks for your help m8

First if you like nti,go for, just post is a serial you need??>>to register it<<or file is zipped>>compressed,so it needs to be opened with password; You shoundnt have trouble with Fosi version, and for nti site you just put any info>>there is not checking>>and youll get update.Other things i mentioned are software which you could try and they are freely avoil. from CDRSOFT download page>You could test it as much as you want. They are some more advanced sofware also, but maybe is better to leave that for after, when you got into the things...All that soft is easy to use and even vith basic skills, you should be able to make it.Veritas, prassi ,stomp are basicilly company names.APP names are>>Record now max, prassi, click&burn. My advice>>you didnt ask for,but just to help you chhoose would be recordmax. Its a great and most advanced app in that tree, but others are almost the same too.GUI is really basic, but is working trouble and maintenance free, which is now most important thing for you.Feurio is for me on same level with EAC>>Eac is better in audio, but for me Feurio rocks as a audioonly burning soft. For both proggys there are some advanced features, for first times go default on both, and when you feelit, try to experiment with them(settings),and of course consult help thing.Feurio help is great>>everything explained, and for more go to their site>>Q&A,Everything is there. For EAC consider great tutorial on Satp page>>Everything is there, and on Eac now you got wizard to help you out for basic things>and if you are interested for more of Eac,let it know and somebody will provide a link for EACb2 manual. Most basic way for mp3 to wav, which basically mean that after that transaction you can listen them in regular stereo is mp3 maker>>can even make covers and normalize .For normalization there is 1001 way to do it right..right for person who make music to listen,in this case for yourself. You can prefer by peaks,rms,compressit.............................but the only right way for you is,listen the way YOU like it,not what somebody saying is good.If you like it by peaks,go for,at the end you are the one whos gonna have to put up with that!!!:).Nero would be a good way to go too, version 4091 is the best for me,for some other members 5048,basicly,last 4 and 5 version are good, better then new ones, and is nice package, advanced and simple, good for audio and data too.+for every cd you need covers, consider surething cdlabeler, from CDRSOFT main page>>of course.Go with retail version>>25mb size>>there is crack there too,but appears that is not needed>>running 6 months on my pc without any probs..and is nice and simple!!!If you wanna just transfer them from mp3 to wav,go with feurio or eac>>or what i use is razorlame.IMHO best gui for lame with simple but very advanced and good features. You can messup settings manually,so for starters go with presets>>troublefree way to go...Anyway for all additional info, reply and somebody will try to give an accurate answer:)
