Problem with DVD Player and SVCD

Hy,Guys - first of all i am new in this forum and i hope i am doing all right.

Now my problem with my standalone DVD Palyer Thomson DTH 5000 : it plays all my SVCDs made with DVDx2.0 or DVD2SVCD for about 15 min with no problems after this time it starts to freeze and sometimes it goes out of sync with video and audio.
All SVCDs are burned with NERO - on another DVD Player they work fine - is there a solution or has anyone experienced problems like this ,too ??

Hi,

what about trying the following:
- first burn the discs at a lower speed (say maximum 8x)
- second try to burn them with another program (cdrdao for example, out of vcdeasy)

Best would be to combine the two tips in one go ...

hmm. the only problem with the compatability reports at vcdhelp is that many of them are incorrect.
The other advice I agree with.
