well in the general window on the bottom left corner of the data editor menu, it says (0) files accepted, 1 file rejected whenever I try to import my mpeg-2's...i've tried two encoders so far, tmpgenc and honestech...neither have been successful. my audio, subpicts, stills, were all able to import fine but my video keeps getting rejected. have you seen this before?

maybe u r trying to import a "non DVD compliant" Mpeg2 file ?!
what´s the resolution of your mpeg file ?

nope settings are all correct, 720x480...i will try encoding video and audio streams seperately and then bring them into scenarist...hopefully that will work..

try another application like Sonic Fusion ... it´s available on the mainpage .... Fusion offers nearly the same features ... ok it´s not that "pro" tool but it is easier to use and I think it wouldn´t cause such probs ... give it a try

update,

man i'm silly...i wasn't importing with elementary streams...instead of importing the video and audio files seperately i had them encoded together. i had to checkout the reeldvd forums to figure it out since there isn't a lot of scenarist info out there. informative site:

thanks again for the input!
