prob bitrate with DVD2SVCD

Hi,

I'm trying to convert a ripped DVD to SVCD (for the first time)
with the help of the good tutorial of ChickenMan (I want to see
the difference between a DIVX movie and a SVCD movie).

Nevertheless, I can't find my way... how to handle this error :

"The total bitrate (audio+video = 2850 kbps) is bigger than the max. bitrate specified in the SVCD standard (2756 kbps).
Some players might not be able to play this SVCD.
Do you want to continue ?"

I can't choose the bitrate for SVCD isn'it ?
The folder Bitrate of DVD2VCD is not clear to me !
How can I choose 2 or 3 CDR's for my movie ?

Any help would be very appreciated !

It may be easier using tmpgenc but the final result is not as good.
Find out how long the movie is, look on the table to see what bitrate is being used. If its too high choose 740 instead of 800 or alter the settings so your movie length fits on 2 instead of 3 cds or whatever u need. U can choose a cd size of anything. If u choose 400 for example you can get 2 files or episodes on 1 cd.

I forgot to mention that I've this message error when loading the ifo file of movie Monsters, Inc ( 88 mins )

Same message when loading other ifo files from other ripped movies !

Any Idea ?

(all DVD's were ripped with Smartripper option : movie)

It should read in bitrate:(for a 88min movie)
Between 76 and 100min use 2 cds cdsize 800.
Then your bitrate will be ok.
I use smartripper too.

Yes... I agree, but when starting conversion, I got the same message...
The CCE is version 2640110 (download on this site) and I have checked the "Safe mode" in the Encoder folder !

Ok... Ok... I found out something :
In the Audio folder of DVD2SVCD I select English for Audio 1 Priority 1 and French for Audio 2 Priority 1.

So when I load an ifo file (conversion folder), I got always the message error !
And I see then 2 audio streams selected in the conversion folder !

If there is no Audio 2 selected in the Audio folder... No error !

Is there no way to select 2 Audio tracks ?

Thanks for any help !
