Prefetcher Disabled in Service Pack 2 RC1?

It seems that the C:\Windows\Prefetch folder is gone... Is it Windows denying access or did they disabled it in SP2? Anyone having the same problem?
The EnablePrefetcher value is set to 5...
I will try setting it to 3 to see what happens.

Tried to turn it on using the registry - doesn't work.
Anyways, doesn't Prefetch makes program start more faster?

make sure your task scheduler service is on. if this service is turned off=disabled prefetching will not work.
