Prassi Protect DVD-Rs?

hi.
i'm burning my dvd-rs backups whit prassi but when i try backup a dvd burned whit prassi,it gives me a error nearly the end.for example, if the media has 4 gb burned in it, the program (dvd decrypter,prassi,recordnow,discjuggler,nero,smartripper,etc...) breaks at 85,90%.seems prassi when write the media "tells" these programs the media was full until the end but when they try to acess more data to copy give that error, because he try copie data is not there.the only software able to copy this kind of protection is clavdvd xp.is any software able to copy that kind of scene?

As The_Poacher has suggested, if your system is FAT32, the MAXIMUM file size on a FAT32 formated HD is 4.000000 gig and most DVDR's are bigger than that. All the programs you mentioned would make an image to your HD first and would bomb out at about 90% as it reaches the 4gig file limit.

If your system is up to it, you could try copying on-the-fly direct from DVD-ROM to DVD Burner. No image is written to the HD so can be done on a FAT32 system with no problems.

the only program who makes that kindof scene is prassi.nero dont does that.
if i try to copy on the fly they give me the same error when he reach the end of the data in the dvdr

Woo we both answered at the same time. What was the original DVDR writen with and what settings do you know? If it was not closed, then could cause problems. What media used and waht burning speed originally used? Are the original DVDR's able to be played on PC or DVD Player completely, even right to the end with no problems?

Have U tried By making ISO in decrypter then burn the ISO in decrypter >> U do seem to have a serious problem especially as you are NTFS (the faults U describe nearly always result from having FAT 32)

One other thing i can think of is I had serious problems of all kinds with my DVD puter until we finally by trial & error sussed it >> was an intermittent fault on the processor >> new processor everything now fine.

it is not a single case of dvd.all dvds burned whit prassi.i already tried whit many diferents media (princo, sony, verbatin, sentinel, etc) .dvd decrypter is not able to get a iso.gives me the same error if i try in file mode.the dvd plays fine in xbox,ps2,standalone,pc .if i rip it whit clavd dvd i am able to burn that again to a new dvd.i'm only want to find a program u was able to copy that dvd burned whit prassi whitout decrypting it whit clavdvd.such one able to do a copy on the fly, you now.does anyone have that kind of problem whit prassior is just me?

my configuration is:

PI 2.0
GeForce 2 MX 32 mb

Sorry but I use only DVD Decrypter and Nero (even works for DVD2One) for all my DVDR burns. When your on a good thing, stick to it so I dont need RNM.

By the way CladXP is not decryting your DVDR as no DVDR's have any encryption on them. All retail DVD Burner cannot write an encrypter movie file in the first place.

I know.i just cant explain very well.my english is not the best.the only way to make encryptation i think is whit dvd maestro.i only use prassi because the mustek standalones dont like very much nero.when i use nero i set to dvd UDF - force XBOX compatibility
