PowerPoint Presentation

Please Help If possible my wife has made a PowerPoint Presentation and wants to turn it into a mpeg so it will play with windows media player or similar program how ever we can do it where we can burn it onto cdr and the majority of people can open them on a computer any help would be appreciated THANKS GIL

Looks useful, and the fact it is free/opensource is a bonus.

Not sure if one of Chickenman's tutorials covers AVI to MPG/VCD.

Just thinking though, I'm sure there's a standalone Powerpoint viewer, so that should play on any PC with better quality than after putting it through any video codec - Powerpoibt should be able to give it to you in an export/standalone format, so unless you also want it to play on a VCD or VCD/CD-R capable DVD player, I'd go the powerpoint viewer route - if you can't find it, I'll see if I can rake it out from Microsoft - their viewers can be a bit of a sod to find!

Hi Gil,
You can convert your Power Point Presentation into VCD so that you can share with your family members and friends either on TV or PC. First you have to export your PPP as GIF and click yes to include all sildes. After that use any video creator such as, WinDVD Creator, Ulead Video Studio 7 and many others to convert the slides into VCD. You can even add sound and transiton effects. Rgds.....MIPO
