Porn popups at Cdrsoft Main

I concur I got that popup a few days ago and even Maeya wouldn't stop this. I had to manually clean my registry

Meaya doesn't stop activeX dialer installers. and that's what Woody's screenshot shows. I have never seen such one on cdrsoft.cc. and if it occurs on other sites, I am always asked, whether I want to install, and of course I say no. doesn't matter anyway, because I am not connected to the internet, but only to the lan (router), so such a dialer couldn't even create a connection to the net, even if it were installed

Looks like the Porn Popups are gone.

I don't want to speak too soon but I have just visited the main site and it looks as though service is back to normal and the excessive popup have gone.

After all I didn't want to install a popup killer cause N.B. deserves any income his intended popups generate for the trouble of providing such a high quality site and I'll go cold turkey if it gets closed again.

Just an update,N.B. found the offending script and contacted the source.Things are better now.

The dialers actually installed themselves at one point.I am on Lan ,so no damage done.There were so many popups I had to use task manager to stop them.They were using all my system resources.

Good thing N.B. got them removed.

Still irritating tho' Woody. But never even entered my head that N.B. might be party to it, though, not once ! Incidentaly - someone mentioned having to take it out of the registry. How ?
