VCD's are not supported by the PS2

DVD-r-movies are a nightmare, but if anyone has a success story to tell.. please let me know!!!

DVD-r games are no problem with mod-chip, also depending on the chip

if you read the post properly you will see i have had success
in a (dvd-r movie) that works in a playstation 2

just put it in and watch the movie

Eh more info needed such as format of it other burning programs like nero supported and cdrs is what most use.
