can anybody please help me unlock my pioneer DV444 as I am desperate to watch my new live aid dvd, any help would be much appreciated

press setup then 1783521 now a new window will open and you can chose Region code and Macrovision

although this may or may not work it does state this on dvdrhelp

it also states this too

a user of dvdrhelp ....

to hack the DV-444 You`ll have to install the "keymaster" chip.I bought my player after reading about possible hacks on this page and only later discovered that these hacks work ONLY after the installation of the chip. Advice - try the hack yourself before making any decisions. There is no remote operated hack for this player.
