Pioneer A06 Not selectable as reader in primo

Just bought a Pioneer A06, and tried Both Nero 5599 and Primo DVD 2.0 Build 767, but my dvd writer isn't selectable as a recorder.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Try Nero 5.5.10.42 -- your Nero is WAY old. Support is there in .42; I have both a 105 and 106, and both work in .42 version...

Dave is correct,both programs are too old to support the A06.RecordNowMax will also support the A06,and is quite popular.

Nero needs updating, and as for the Primo you have to wait for the next pxengine (from Sonic site) to have full support.

There's a 50 now, but with very mixed reports, so 42 is probably safest.

I'll let you in to a little secret.... (looks round to see if anyone's watching)


The post may have been edited for the mistake (42 IS the right one, 45 is not).

.... but it doesn't SAY "edited...." - and it doesn't, IF nobody viewed the thread between the initial post and the edit - but of course, it doesn't notify you again for the edit.


Now I've told you, I'll have to kill you ;)

ahhhhhhh I see

Cool, I'll have a bash with .42 and see how we go.

I've had a look around and Primo have stopped making their s/w, so probs no updates from them :(

Right, I've now got Nero 6 ultra, and some Ritek 4x disks

I can write data ok, but when copying a movie, I've made 2 coasters outta t3, and 1 movie which only plays black and white! (which I burned at 1x)

Pissing me off now!

Anything I'm missing? burning at 4x with BURN Proof shouldn't be a problem should it?

FYI I'm copying off copies. not ripping myself (yet!)

Any help apprieciated.
