It should be an interesting piece of software... since the notorious Andre Wiethoff (EAC developer) is actively participating in this project (although not the one who does the dirty jobs). The predecessor (VOB/Steinberg DVD Movie Copy Suite) was simply ridiculous, but this one seems to be another case.

This new version of Instant copy7 seems to be doing a better job on Dvd9's than Dvd2one.Of course the time has increased to do reencoding,over Dvd2one.Results are said to be better.;)

If it can keep menus and extras and still be as good as dvd2one (or better) then it will be a serious piece of kit.
I look forward to testing it. ;)

It appears to keep the menus and extras Dave.;) In fact it seems you need a hack to keep the main movie only.

You must use Smartripper,or Dvd Decryptor to rip the movie.It then reencodes it to fit on 1 Dvd.

It is so popular that their server is maxed out.:(

It seems to be a great piece of software- although legal issues keep it limited- still. In fact it would NEVER be out, even at its current limted form, if Pinnacle did not acquire Steinberg/VOB.

Well Olli and the boys should have Clone DVD ready sometime next month, lets hope that that is another step in the right direction for DVD copy software.

Who knows, it could be fantastic. We will see. :)

Wish it worked with NTSC, I tried it but it encoded to PAL, could'nt figure out if it could do NTSC. Worked great though.
