Photo Printing on Win2k

Does anyone know of any software or any way to tweak Windows 2000 settings for better picture printing (pictures come out with very visible horizontal lines). Never had the problem with Win89, only happened with when I upgraded to Win2k.

Heads May need realigning may be in your Printers utils

You just have to clean your inkjet printer nozzles.

I have tried cleaning and re-aligning and have had the exact same results. But thank you for the ideas, anyone else have an idea?

MMM could be serious Im sure U have but
a)reinstall printer
b)Download & Use latest drivers/s/ware
c)If U are using printer port try USB (I couldnt get my Epson to go in port but worked fine in USB[XP])

Is it a printer model with detachable heads, or you can replace just the ink cartridges?
The heads may need replacement, or there may be some ink spill within the printer.
In any case it sounds like a hardware problem and not a driver one.
