Panda Antivirus Titanium

tried it a couple months ago after favorable review´s. (titanium 2.03)
It was slow and completely made pc come to a grinding halt when scanning; same behaviour if it was set to monitor in the background. (athlon 700, 512MB ram, 61GB HDD)
On top of this it didn´t find virus i deliberately left in the internet temp files for "live-action" testing.....(and no, I didn´t have any other AV-prg running/activated in the background)
Later on found in forums (sorry can´t remember which ones) it was considered a complete bloat-ware.
I´m sticking to my kaspersky AV (which did find above viruses), and is lightning fast + daily updates.
You could also give Ontrack Systemsuite/Ontrack fix it utils (4.0x) a try. Their AV-engine is from Trend Micro (weekly updates; did find the same viruses...though slower than Kaspersky)
A decent AV would also bee Norton AV 2002 (for the ease of using it, that prog been around for so long so I think those guy´s know what they´re doing)
AND: No AV is good if you don´t update it frequently....

actually, when i´ve installed something to less computer-minded friends they want a no-brainer AV: install & user-wise.
By test NAV isn´t the top-best: true ; but for viruses in the wild it does intercept... and with OK speed & usability thats why i mentioned it....

Ohh, whatever you do, AVOID Mcafee products at any cost. (they´re a real mother of bloat-ware) Any version I´ve tried f***ed up my system beyond repair . It takes over your system bigtime & you have zero to little control what it does to it.... + it´s NOT happy with any other kind of firewall/AV/diskutility installed at the same time. ( but this is stuff for another thread...)

I tried it and it seems to works fine. It actually use less resources than norton antivirus, which i will probably never going to touch again maybe until the next version. It uses way too much resources. I finally notice that now . Do you guys have a working keygen/crack for the AVP Pro newest version? I want you use that but no key is valid.

I myself use 3.6.14, tried the 4.0x preview and that was slower; have no experience from 4.0.6.0.
Just put the key into: c:\program files\common files\AVP shared files...
(Note: you can try out the diff. keys when installing; just put one key at the time into above folder when KAV ask for it; if you or progg not happy, just go one step back in installationprocess and put another key in there instead.....
And remember to be nice to your parents...

Try Quick Heal Gen X , very efficient fast and easy to updates
Finds all the viruses. I was using Norton 2002 before but switched to this beauty and just takes 10 MB hard disk space and has weekly updates and a messenger which reports new viruses
