Saw that Blane, I want one and now!!!

Bumped into a pro copier the other day at a computer fair who's using a 3gig P4 and I almost fell over when he told me how long it takes him to rip/encode a film....what would 4.1g be like!

hmm...yeah encoding time would be interesting I get about 1.5x realtime with CCE (P4 2.4GHZ) ....

I get about 1.45x to 1.5x realtime with CCE (AMD 1800+ slightly overclocked)

hi i have 2200+ XP and i want to know how fast is it in realtime how ??? is there a program tel you that ??

i just use TMPGenc and Vidomi to encode and i think it's give me 20 frame per sec..

and what is CCE ???

CCE shows u the speed ...
CCE is Cinemacraft Encoder ---- faster than TMPenc + does a better job for DVD2DVD2 & Svcds

25fps = realtime (PAL)
29fps = realtime (NTSC)
