odd thing about #cracks on efnet

i have tried to get in that channel 3 times now within the lsat few months and everytime, i got kicked n the message said taht i m banned, but it's like, i have never been in the channel ever before, so how can i possibly do anything bad?

i mean, i dont care if they dont want me for wahtever reason but it's just weird to me why they ban people who have never been in their channel

Nope, it doesen't have to be your fault, most likely some other user had a dial-up and they banned his dynamic ip which you got while you connected to the internet, it can also be that you used same username that is already banned for some reason.

If you're on dial-up it's probably that problem.

Btw, send message to an irc op outside that channel to unban that ip :)
