No software supports my drive, Help!!

Hi guys, I got a new dell notebook fitted with a matshita cdrw/dvd combo UJDA740 24/10/24/8.

This drive is not supported in any known good software i know like Nero, Discjuggler, RecordNow, Nti CD-Maker. Even CDRWin does not support it. But guess what, the only one that does support it is Easy CD Creator (it comes with the drive anyway). As everyone else, i don't like using Easy CD Creator.

Anyone got an idea?

zonly1...I had the same problems with my Matshita UJDA720 DVD/CD-RW (on a Sony VAIO laptop). Sadly Matshita, which is sometimes listed as Panasonic (something to look for) is not well supported by CDR proggies. Given time...Nero, Padus Discjuggler, CD Mate, and others will support your drive as they now support mine.

However, there is one proggie that I found supported my drive way back when no other proggie did. It is still my favorite proggie to this day. It is in fact, one of only three proggies I have on both my laptop and home systems. Those programs are EAC, CloneCD, and Burnatonce.

Burnatonce is a great CDR proggie that flawlessly burns, Cues TOCs and ISOs. The latest versions now support mp3 CD and Data CD creation. Its a GUI front end for cdrdao source code, which is rock solid code for CD burning.

Best of all it needs no crack or keygen...its freeware. Where to find it? Do a search of this Forum for Burnatonce. You should do this for several reasons...not only will you find how well recommended it is here, but you will find a treasure trove of knowledge about its use from its author jamieo (a fellow Forum member).

Just so you know...I have burned over 50 CDRs on my Matshita UJDA720 and never once have I burned a coaster with Burnatonce. Food for thought. :cool:

thanks dxkim, i had burnatonce and i was goin to try it anyways. it seems to work but i will just use it instead of cdrwin to burn bin files.

I also wanna thank pokopiko. i totally forgot about VOB Instant CD/DVD. and it does support my burner. thanks!!

Now all i have to do is wait for Nero to support it since Nero is the program that i use with InCD with it.
