New Hardware.. 1-2-1 copies Possible?

Hi, i've been looking over the new DVD burner from HP, they claim it can write DVDs that will work in any DVD player, does this mean that DVDs can now be copied?

If so, anyone have any expeiances with this drive?

hmm.. no u aren´t able to do 1:1 copies of dvds .... cause there r DVDs up to 9GB (on one side) DVDrs only hold 4489MB ...
besides
I wouldn´t buy the Hp drive ... cause Pioneer rules ... :)

there is a little guide in the tutorial section ...which explains a copy of dvd movies ... but this guide only works in some situations ... another guide follows .. to make the DVD burning world complete ;)
