AUI/10base 5 is the "transceiver drop cable" interface, the multipin connector, no use without an external transceiver unit.

BNC/10base2 is the "Thinwire" interface, for co-ax cable on a T-piece.

TP Full duplex and TP half duplex are both the "RJ45" (like a telephone plug) connector.
TP = "twisted pair" - and this is also known as UTP "Unshielded Twisted Pair"

If you KNOW that what you are connecting to supports duplex mode, use FULL, otherwise use HALF.

If you attempt to use full duplex (simultaneous transmit and receive) when not supported, you will get high error rate and packet loss.

I'm surprised there's no AUTO mode!

Resources - a later driver MAY offer auto! - no update for XP though!
