Nero Probs !!

When trying to burn DVD ... says Generate ISO Names...
far as it goes .. does nothing ...

Nero - DVD ISO/UDF using exactly as in CM's dvd to dvd-r tut ..

was working no probs .. but this morning ..decided to give me hell !!

Almost all DVD movies have a pure UDF structure, so they don't need ISO headers written. Can you elaborate a bit, eg which burning program, and which disk?

Yeah..tanks for reminding... still the second part of the Q is valid, although I never really got a clue on how Nero burns DVD... my patience was exchausted long before that phase.

Copy to DVD

Just used copy to DVD prog .. and that worked .. is this good prog to use ?

Since it worked with CopytoDVD, it should be a videoDVD rip... or not?
Not using it myself, but it's a good proggy.

how do ya burn a DVD movie in recordmax 4.5 ?

Simple enough... I rip to files (my fav is DVDshrink), and on RNM I have the option "recognize blah blah" (under F3/options/data disc) ticked on.
So far ZERO failures and ZERO coasters- somewhat annoying...
Of course you can use Nero, CopyToDVD or whatever, but IMO there is no point doing so... RecordNow is the definition of idiotproof soft when coming to DVD burning.

Choose "Data DVD" as the project type. Then select the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS directories as the files to be burned. Done.

well, for me, both work ... only with Power DVD or others... but not on my standalone DVD Player ( TOSH SD-100 ) or PS2 (unmodded)
Don't Know why .
I tried with DVD-RW and +RW with Pionner 106 but only bad results at now.
If anybody here has an idea ... would be great
