NERO Installation

I have tried installing NERO downloads all day and everytime I do I get this Your DEMO has expired and it won't let me use the program. I thought after downloading off of this site which I just found today and love it, would work but no I get the same thing. Please help me work around this. I am sick of Easy CD Creator and it sucks most of the time. I saw where clearing your registry of all Ahead and Nemo references might help but alas I have never messed with the registry and dont know how to do this without chancing a screw-up. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Followup to Nero Installation problem

Hi thanks for your instructions on clearing the registry of ahead and nero items. I did it three times, uninstalled nero, cleaned registry and reinstalled nero and still I get the same problem"your demo has expired". Any additional advice would be greatly appreciated.

I could be wrong, but it sounds like a problem with the crack or serial.Did it come with a crack or serial?

reply to post 3 and 4

Thanks for your prompt replies. The first one (download)came from the website you mentioned but the one I am trying to use now came from this website. It had no serial number etc. as best I can tell. I can't open it up far enough to determine due to the "your demo has expired" lock. How do I check my system clock and what do I look for? Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

-u may think u deleted all of the registry entries, but i bet u haven't...programs tend to hide program entries in the registry, manually deleting stuff in the registry that says "ahead" won't get rid of everything...

-when i remove programs like that i do 4 thing

1. i run Norton Uninstall Deluxe
2. then i manually remove some items
3. then i run a program called "Regcleaner" (very nice program i been using for about a year now...download it from h**p://www.regedit.com)
4. then u run Norton Utilities and remove invalid registry entries

...and in general this works
