nero formating with pioneer106

when i format, my dvd-r are only 1.99gb instead of 4.7
whats going on, i formated with nero 5.5.10.35

It's an OS problem... 98SE sees FAT32 files as 4GB max (with clustersize 16K) or 2GB for smaller clustersize- and that applies for other filesystems too, like UDF.
I think that you should be able to burn the whole 4.37G anyway, but if you want to see the actual capacity of the disk then you should install a UDF reader driver. Roxio and Veritas offer such a driver for 9X.

but i still only get 2 gig for the dvd-r in explorer writes full but it shows 2 gig always and nothing empty
any ideas
