Nero crashing computer

I have easy cd creator. As i wanted to make 90 minutes cd i installed Nero 5.5.10. After compilation and selection of disk at once burning mode, no multisesson, when i press cd record button computer hangs/crash. Easy cd creator works perfectly. Please guide me in the matter.

you should not combine ECDC with other burning soft, even under W9x/ME;
- uninstall Nero, reboot
- uninstall ECDC and DirectCD, reboot, remove all leftover drivers and registry entries, reboot
- install Nero and be happy with it till the end of your live, avoid ECDC;

couldn't agree more but would use other s/ware not Nero but its a start far better than Creator

Before 6 months i have Nero, Winoncd & Easy CD nicely living together on my computer. Then i uninstalled Nero. Now when when i reinstalled new version the problem started. This is for information of other members.

Well if for any reason you really need nero and crasher on same pc,i remember before on nero site you could find loader(switcher for both sw--so when you start windows only one will load up)...--but never tried...I always trying to avoid roxio as above guys--which i would more then recomend to you too!!!!Btw soft was free in that time--do not know now??!!
